St John’s, Northwood is seeking to appoint a qualified, passionate class teacher with experience in EYFS. This is a Fixed Term role (Maternity Cover), commencing 1st September 2026. Applicants with either independent or maintained sector backgrounds are welcomed.
The Role
The role requires the delivery of outstanding teaching and pastoral care to our younger learners. The successful candidate will also offer exceptional pastoral support and facilitate the growth in personal development and confidence of children under their care. All teachers contribute actively to our vibrant co-curricular programme.

Principal areas of responsibility
Planning and delivery of lessons and activities which are stimulating, fun and appropriately adapted to the needs of all learners.
Lessons and learning-through-play sessions are well-pitched, adapted to individual needs as required. Children enjoy learning, interacting and being challenged.
