Examinations Administration Officer
35 hours per week, term time only plus 11 days
£29,090 to £32,440 per annum inclusive (FTE £35,310 to £39,380 pa)
We are seeking an experienced administrative Examinations Administration Officer to provide support within our Examinations Department. The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of MS Office programmes and databases. They will have excellent communications skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage their time effectively. A sense of humour, accuracy, enthusiasm, flexibility, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines are also required.
The postholder will be required to attend during results weeks and three INSET days. Flexibility (early starts/late finish) will be required during exam periods to ensure adequate cover. TOIL accrued for hours worked outside of the job role. The periods of intense activity are typically the six weeks of public summer examinations (early May to late June), the January mock examinations (2 weeks in early January) plus other internal assessments typically held during the summer term.
