English Teacher (Secondary School)

Pride ISM is seeking an inspiring, dedicated, and highly-skilled Secondary School English Teacher to join our team full-time, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will have: - A Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant subject. - A proven good record of teaching experience and familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE ESL curriculum. - A genuine interest in the subject and a strong commitment to high standards and a variety of approaches to teaching and learning. - The ability and commitment to be an excellent classroom teacher. - A high level of professionalism and consideration for the wellbeing of students, with good classroom management and interpersonal skills. - Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities and a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the school. - Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language. - A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Good level of IT skills. - A clean background or police check and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
