About this role
As an English Teacher at Outwood Academy Normanby, you will be responsible for inspiring and teaching our students so that they achieve great outcomes. You will promote the achievement of high academic standards through highly effective teaching and learning in English. You will prepare, apply, and develop lesson resources in alignment with the curriculum, with the support of your department head and trust leaders. This role requires effective classroom management, collaboration with support staff, and a commitment to professional development.
Working pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only.
Applicants must hold UK QTS, if trained overseas, have the relevant evidence that your qualification equates to UK QTS.
