We are seeking to appoint a dependable and thorough Domestic Services Operative to join our operational support team at our Ford Park campus. As a valued member of the school community, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene of the College. The position involves performing a comprehensive range of domestic duties throughout our facilities, including vacuuming, dusting, damp mopping, and ensuring the meticulous upkeep of hygiene areas. To excel in this role, candidates must possess a proactive approach and strong time management skills, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and in accordance with the College's high operational standards. Strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations is essential, particularly regarding safe working practices and correct chemical handling procedures. While previous commercial or domestic cleaning experience is desirable, it is not mandatory as full training will be provided. Most importantly, we require an individual with a conscientious work ethic and a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a part-time, permanent position operating on a term-time only basis for 35 weeks per year. The established working hours are Monday to Friday, from 05:00 to 08:30, totaling 17.5 hours per week.
