Cover Supervisor

As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will ensure that students remain engaged, focused and on task, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and promoting a positive learning environment. You will support high standards of behaviour across the school, encourage students to take responsibility for their learning, and help remove barriers that may affect engagement and achievement. Through building positive relationships with students and staff, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and support students in achieving their full potential.
