Cover Supervisor

The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our cover team, supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff by implementing agreed plans, programmes and resources. This post will suit a candidate who has the ability to work flexibly, support and motivate young people and act as a positive role model, setting high expectations for our students. Candidates must have: • experience of working with young people in a learning environment • excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills • an understanding of curriculum • the ability to relate well to both staff and students The post is for 32.5 hours per week, working pattern for the post is 8:15am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday however from time to time it may be necessary to work flexibly to effectively support college meetings and events, this is a term time plus 5 days post.
