We are currently seeking a Construction Tutor to join our team as an Advanced Skills Teacher. Position: Construction Tutor Type: Advanced Skills Teacher Location: United Kingdom About the Role: As a Construction Tutor at Trident Alternative Provision, you will play a key role in delivering practical and theoretical construction education to our students. You will support learners in developing essential skills that prepare them for further education or employment within the construction industry. Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum qualification of Certificate in Construction or related field - At least 2 years’ experience working within the construction sector or teaching construction-related subjects - Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction work - Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learner needs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both young people and colleagues - Competence in assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback Values and Attitudes: - Commitment to supporting all learners, including those with additional needs, through patience and understanding - A positive approach towards promoting inclusion, respect, and diversity within the classroom environment - Enthusiasm for inspiring students about career opportunities within construction trades - Reliability, professionalism, and dedication to continuous professional development If you are passionate about making a difference through education while sharing your expertise in construction, we would love to hear from you.
