Bethany School is delighted to invite applications for the new role of Commercial Lettings Manager, an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow the School’s commercial activity and maximise non-fee income from our exceptional facilities.
Set within 60 acres of beautiful Kent countryside, Bethany has invested in the expansion of its commercial offering, including the Pengelly Performance Centre (theatre) and a 25m six-lane swimming pool, alongside a wide range of creative arts, sports and residential facilities. This role will play a pivotal part in unlocking their potential while ensuring all activity aligns with Bethany’s educational offering as well as it’s ethos and values.
The Role
Reporting to the Bursar and working closely with the Marketing team, the Commercial Lettings Manager will lead the development, promotion and delivery of Bethany’s lettings and residential holiday programmes. You will build strong commercial relationships, identify new revenue opportunities and ensure that all lettings are professionally managed, compliant and financially sustainable.
The role is offered initially on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), working flexibly to suit business needs, including some evenings and weekends. As commercial activity and income grow, there is clear potential for the role and hours to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow profitable commercial lettings across the School’s facilities
Build relationships with external organisations, agents and partners
Manage venue hire for the theatre, swimming pool, sports, creative arts and residential facilities
Curate and programme events in harmony with the School’s calendar and mission
Lead and expand Bethany’s Residential Holiday Programme
Work collaboratively with marketing to promote all commercial activities
