Chemistry Teacher

This position involves teaching Chemistry at the High/Secondary School level following the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum. Position: Chemistry Teacher Department: Science Education Stage: High/Secondary School Curriculum: IB MYP Location: Iraq Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons aligned with the IB MYP curriculum. - Develop lesson plans that foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences. - Participate actively in school events, professional development, and community activities. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field (minimum requirement). - At least 7 years of teaching experience, preferably within international or IB schools. - Strong knowledge of the IB MYP framework and assessment criteria. - Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage. - Ability to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement.
