King Edward VII is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated catering team, helping to provide a high-quality, nutritious, and welcoming food service for the users of our School. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our school food outlets. This post is based at the Lower School site on Darwin Lane. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of a variety of food and drink. Serving students at break and lunch times Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, including daily washing up and working as part of a team to clean all kitchen and service areas. Assisting with periodic deep cleaning of food preparation areas. Operating an electronic till system and to undertake cash handling as and when required Supervision of students in the dining hall The Successful Candidate will be able to: Communicate effectively with other employees, students, and the wider school community. Be reliable, punctual, and presentable. Work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative when required. Demonstrate an awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene policies. Understand the needs of the School in
