Catering Assistant

Job descriptionAn opportunity to join Oakhill school’s catering team has arisen. We are looking for the right candidate to assist our chefs who prepare our delicious homemade meals for school and nursery. If you are hardworking, passionate about food and are looking to work with a great team of people then this could be the job for you. You will become part of an experienced team that is committed to preparing the best food to make our children excited for lunchtime! Experience in a similar setting preferred but not essential. Main Duties will include: Keeping the kitchen are clean and tidy Assisting the chef with daily service and general prep when required Washing pots and pans Operating the dishwasher - full training will be provided Keeping the dining room clean and tidy Putting deliveries away Keeping storerooms tidy and organised In addition to a competitive salary, Oakhill offers fantastic discounts on school and nursery fees and discounted gym membership. Hours of work are 8.30 am until 1.30pm with a 20 minute break for lunch. This is a term time only position.
