Aurora Linemere will be a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 96 students, our vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive.
Your Role
As our Thrive Practitioner, you'll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the Thrive provision, ensuring pupils receive high‑quality, developmentally informed support. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, therapeutic colleagues and teaching staff to embed the Thrive Approach across the whole school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering 1:1, small‑group and whole‑class Thrive sessions
Completing Thrive Online assessments and creating action plans
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and social development Modelling Thrive, PACE, Emotional Coaching and restorative practices
Providing therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the therapeutic team
Coaching and guiding staff to embed Thrive‑aligned strategies across the school
About You

Essential Qualifications
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Thrive Practitioner qualification (or willingness to complete)
HLTA Level 4 (or willingness to work towards)
Strong IT skills
Essential Experience
Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD or SEMH needs
Understanding of safeguarding, KCSIE and child protection procedures
