Teacher of Business Studies and EconomicsCapital School Bahrain – British Curriculum International School Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to join our growing secondary team. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies and/or Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5, supporting strong outcomes at IGCSE/GCSE and A-Level, and contributing to the continued development of our Sixth Form provision. This role would suit a confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and experience of post-16 teaching. Key Responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality Business Studies and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5 Planning engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to examination specifications Preparing students effectively for GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, and vocational pathways Using assessment data to inform teaching and support student progress Promoting high expectations, independence, and analytical thinking Working collaboratively within the Humanities/Business faculty and wider school team The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and/or Economics Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 Experience with A-Level Business and/or Economics BTEC Business experience (desirable) Effective classroom practice and strong behaviour management A commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing We offer: A supportive and professional working environment Strong leadership and collaborative departmental culture Competitive international salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career progression Apply via TES with a CV and covering letter.
