Primary Teacher

Pride ISM is seeking an inspiring, dedicated, and highly-skilled Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team full-time, starting in August 2027. The successful candidate will have: A bachelor’s degree in education, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject alongside PGCE/QTS (or an equivalent formally recognised teaching qualification). A proven good record of teaching experience. A genuine interest in the subjects taught and a strong commitment to high standards and a variety of approaches to teaching and learning. The ability and commitment to be an excellent classroom teacher. A high level of professionalism and consideration for the wellbeing of students, with good classroom management and interpersonal skills. Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities and a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the school. Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language. A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good level of IT skills. A clean background or police check and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
