Business and Asian Studies Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Business and Asian Studies Teacher to join our Social Sciences department. This position offers the opportunity to teach High/Secondary School students using the Common Core curriculum. Position: Business and Asian Studies Teacher Department: Social Sciences Education Stage: High/Secondary School Curriculum: Common Core Position Type: Teacher Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies with an emphasis on Asian economic, cultural, and social contexts. - Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Common Core standards. - Foster critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills among students. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences. - Participate actively in school events, professional development, and community activities. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Asian Studies or related field (minimum requirement). - At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level. - Strong knowledge of business concepts combined with an understanding of Asian studies relevant to contemporary issues. - Familiarity with the Common Core curriculum framework. - Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage. - Ability to engage diverse learners through innovative teaching methods.
