Assistant SENDCo

Established in 1991, Newton Prep is a thriving school for children, aged 3-13. The School is unashamedly ambitious for its pupils who have access to outstanding facilities. We want them to achieve their academic potential whilst also engaging in sport, art, music and drama. In the School, there are currently 570 pupils from Nursery to Year 8. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant SENDCo to work closely with the SENDCo to support the effective delivery of provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school. The role combines direct teaching and intervention work with a range of management and administrative responsibilities, and is suited to an experienced SEND practitioner looking to develop their leadership within the field.
