Assistant Head of Year

Fairfax Academy is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Academy as an Assistant Head of Year. As Assistant Head of Year, you will work with your allocated year group to ensure high standards of behaviour, attendance and punctuality. You will also provide a high level of pastoral support to ensure students’ needs are met. Joining a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement, you will: Ensure that all members of the school community keep a sharp focus on the behaviour and attendance of identified groups of students Hold, monitor and implement strategies where appropriate to raise the attendance of students across the academy Celebrate and reward students who make positive progress Develop and enhance the practice of others Strategically lead and oversee Refocus, ensuring its continued growth Please click here for more information about the role from the Principal of Fairfax Academy.
