Due to expansion, Roehampton Gate School and our new Putney Vale Campus are looking to recruit an outstanding Art Teacher to join our Teaching team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
You will deliver a creative, engaging and personalised Art, Design and Technology curriculum for Post-16 students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The role focuses on developing students’ individual strengths, nurturing creative expression, and supporting bespoke pathways into further education, employment or vocational opportunities.

We have recently opened our Putney Vale site, a dedicated post-16–19 provision located in a brand-new, purpose-designed building in Putney Vale. This provision offers a fantastic range of opportunities, including both academic and vocational qualifications, as well as a variety of post-16 courses. These are complemented by enriching experiences such as volunteering, enterprise projects, and preparation for adulthood. Our Post-16 site in Putney Vale focuses on vocational training, life skills, and developing independence to help prepare students for adulthood.
Teaching and Learning Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across a range of Art, Design and Technology disciplines, tailored to meet the needs of Post-16 learners with ASC.
Design and implement a personalised, creative curriculum that supports both artistic development and functional life skills.
