3D Art Teacher

International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH), a leading international Catholic girls' school in Japan, is seeking an experienced and passionate full-time 3D Art Teacher to join our Fine Arts Department. This position offers the opportunity to teach 3D Art and Design to both Middle School and High School students, and ideally teaches Advanced Placement (AP) 3D Art and Design and AP Art History. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their artistic voice, master technical skills, and engage critically with contemporary visual culture. Key Responsibilities Teach 3D Art and Design courses to Middle School students, fostering foundational skills and creative exploration Teach 3D Art and Design courses across Grades 9-12 at the High School level, adapting instruction to meet students' evolving abilities and interests Ideally teach the AP 3D Art and Design and AP Art History courses Develop and implement engaging, student-centered curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and independent artistic inquiry Mentor students in the development of strong artist portfolios suitable for university applications Stay current with contemporary 3D art practices, emerging materials, and innovative techniques in the field Collaborate with colleagues across the Fine Arts Department and wider school community to support interdisciplinary learning Maintain a safe, inclusive studio environment that encourages experimentation and celebrates artistic diversity How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to visit our Application Process page on the ISSH website for full details on requirements and the recruitment process.
