1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant for a named child in Reception

1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant (fixed term contract until 31st August 2027) 40 hours per week - St Michael's term time plus INSET days (total 34 weeks per annum) We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Reception (Early Years) in September 2026. Experience and a natural affinity in working with children, especially those with SEND, preferably on a 1 to 1 basis, is desired and you will need to be an excellent team member, encouraging inclusion and development of skills to enable the child to feel seen and heard. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The working pattern will be from 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday during St Michael's term time including INSET days. The post is for a fixed term until 31st August 2027. Starting salary is £20,061.46 per annum (FTE £26,436.80 per annum).
