About this role

Position Title: Year 7 English & Humanities Teacher (KS3) School: KK International School (KKIS), Thailand Curriculum: British Curriculum (Pearson iLS KS3 Pathway) Location: Mae Sot, Thailand (Thai–Myanmar Border) Start: July–August 2026 (Academic Year 2026–27) Unique Job Opportunity KK International School (KKIS) is pioneering international education on the Thai–Myanmar border. With a small, new school complex underway and an expanding Pearson Edexcel curriculum, KKIS is entering an exciting stage of growth — extending from EYFS, KS1 and KS2 into Key Stage 3 (starting Year 7). As Year 7 represents the inception of the new secondary school programme, this role combines English and Humanities teaching responsibilities. As the school expands into future KS3 and IGCSE year levels, specialist subject-teaching roles in English, Maths, Science, and Humanities will progressively develop. This position will suit an energetic, adaptable, and student-centred teacher willing to help shape the growth and development of a new KS3 programme and future IGCSE pathway. Position Overview We seek a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to deliver Year 7 English and Humanities within a Pearson-aligned KS3 pathway. Humanities includes Oxford Geography, History, and Pearson Global Citizenship. The role emphasises literacy development, enquiry-based learning, critical thinking, disciplinary knowledge, and strong ELL support to build confidence and attainment for future IGCSE studies.
