About the Role As a Year 1 teacher, you will: • Design and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons across core subjects, developing confident, independent learners that are tailored to the needs of the individual children. • Design meaningful learning experiences that support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth as well as capturing the children’s sense of curiosity and wonder. • Foster collaboration, curiosity, and creativity in your classroom. • Take an active role in pastoral care, experiential learning, and be passionate about developing extracurricular opportunities. • Work closely with staff and families to ensure every child thrives and aims to go beyond their expectations. About You You are: • A qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent) preferably with at least one year’s teaching experience in a British school either in the UK or abroad. • Familiarity with the nature and expectations of the British Curriculum and committed to high standards of delivering the National Curriculum. • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. • Passionate about inclusive education and supporting our diverse learners. • Reflective, positive, and eager to grow as part of a profession
