Role: Year 1 1:1 Support Learning Assistant (Teaching Assistant) Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am-12.30pm Term-time & prep weeks Contract: Pupil-specific contract linked directly to the student’s continued enrolment at Liberty Woodland School Probation: Four months Reports to: SENCO Day-to-day direction from: Year 1 Senior Learning Associate and SENDCo Important Information About the ContractThis role has been created specifically to provide 1:1 support for a child, who will be joining Year 1. It is not a general Learning Assistant position. The successful applicant’s employment will be directly linked to the child's continued enrollment at Liberty Woodland School. If the child does not remain at the school or leaves the school for any reason, the requirement for this particular role will cease and the employee’s contract will also end. In those circumstances, Liberty Woodland School will give the employee the applicable contractual or statutory notice and follow any consultation or other employment procedures required by law. Applicants should apply only if they understand and accept that: the position exists specifically to support the child; continued employment in this role depends upon the child remaining at Liberty Woodland School; and if the child leaves Liberty Woodland School, the employee will also be given notice that their employment will end.
