Teaching Assistant - Part-Time Fixed-Term Contract Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow and thrive? We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Willow Lodge (Infant School) team on a temporary, part-time basis until 9 July 2027. In this rewarding role, you will work alongside our dedicated teachers, supporting and inspiring our pupils as they discover the world. What You'll Be Doing Working closely with the class teacher to prepare lessons and learning resources. Supporting assessment activities and maintaining pupil records as directed. Supervising pupils during lunch, playtimes and at key points throughout the school day. Playing an active role in school events, parents' evenings and the wider life of Willow Lodge. Assisting with extracurricular activities and helping to promote the school at events such as Open Days and taster sessions. What We're Looking For Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent). A friendly, enthusiastic and proactive approach. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Hours and Salary This is a term-time only position, working 14.5 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8.00am to 3.45pm. The role is offered on a fixed-term basis from 1 September 2026 until 9 July 2027. Salary is £13.67 per hour Interviews are planned for the week commencing 10 August.
