We are seeking an exceptional Whole School Literacy & Oracy Coordinator to lead and shape a strategic literacy pathway that supports learners from early English acquisition through to Cambridge IGCSE and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative educator and middle leader to make a lasting whole-school impact through literacy, oracy, and language development.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing a coherent, measurable literacy framework across the school, supporting students in building academic vocabulary, reading comprehension, extended writing skills, and examination readiness.
Working collaboratively across EY, Primary and Secondary phases, the role offers the opportunity to influence teaching and learning at every level while strengthening outcomes for EAL learners within an international Cambridge curriculum environment.
Alongside strategic literacy leadership, the role includes developing an engaging oracy and LAMDA pathway that nurtures confident speakers, performers, and presenters. Through drama, public speaking, enrichment programmes, and performance opportunities, you will help students develop the communication skills and confidence needed for success both inside and outside the classroom.
