Visiting Music Teacher

We seek well-qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic visiting teachers from September 2026 to teach peripatetic music lessons to both Prep and Senior pupils. We are particularly keen to hear from a woodwind specialist, although versatile musicians with expertise across multiple instruments will also be considered. You will be able to develop your pupils’ musicianship not only through solo playing but through building a wide instrumental repertoire, practising sight reading, and helping your pupils take advantage of our ensemble and solo opportunities. Visiting teachers are line managed by the Director of Performing Arts; the hours are largely flexible, although teachers are requested to commit to days/timings for the whole term in order for the termly timetable to be published. It is important to note that this role does not guarantee a minimum number of hours and works on a ‘supply and demand’ arrangement.
