Who You AreWe are looking for professional Visiting Music Teacher specialising in singing, to join our dedicated Co-Curricular Music Department. You will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our student’s singing abilities. You will be able to choose hours suitable to your availability, subject to student demand and their school timetable.
This role requires excellent communication skills, an ability to foster a welcoming environment, a calm and proactive approach, and the ability to educate pupils on singing, improving their overall ability and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality one-to-one and/or small group singing lessons to pupils across a range of ages and abilities, inspiring a love of music and performance.
Prepare pupils for performances, exams, and auditions, supporting their technical, musical, and interpretive development.
Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual students’ needs, learning styles, and musical goals.
To book lessons on our booking session at appropriate time with students.
Maintain accurate attendance records and provide regular feedback on pupil progress to students, parents, and the Head of Music.
Encourage good vocal technique, posture, and healthy singing habits, promoting vocal care and wellbeing.
Keep up to date with developments in vocal pedagogy and maintain high professional standards in teaching and performance.
Promote inclusion and engagement, ensuring that all pupils, regardless of background or ability, can enjoy and achieve in singing.
