Bloxham School is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Visiting Music Teacher for the Oboe to join our vibrant and ambitious Music Department on a fixed-term basis until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate oboe specialist to inspire young musicians and contribute to a thriving musical community.

About the role:
As a Visiting Music Teacher – Oboe, you will:
Deliver high-quality one-to-one oboe lessons for pupils of all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced.
Prepare students for graded examinations, concerts, recitals and school performances.
Work closely with the Director of Music and colleagues to promote high standards of musicianship across the department.
Encourage pupils’ participation in ensembles, chamber groups and wider musical opportunities.
Provide feedback and progress reports in line with school expectations.
Lead or support workshops, masterclasses or ensemble coaching where appropriate.
