VISITING MUSIC TEACHER – FLUTE
Required from September 2026
We are seeking to appoint a Flute teacher to join our highly skilled team of peripatetic teachers who offer private tuition within our successful Music Department.
Music makes an enormous contribution to the holistic development and wellbeing of all our students. The department offers a wide range of musical activities for every level of ability, every instrument and in a variety of performance styles, aiming to develop fully each student’s musicality and love of the subject.
The successful applicant can expect to teach at the School for approximately one and a half days per week, starting at the beginning of the new academic year, September 2026. Lessons are 30 minutes with 10 lessons taught per term.
Our Visiting Music Teachers contract their services with the school who provide a practice room, timetabling and ABRSM exam entry, for which an admin fee is charged; they also contract directly with the students’ parents and are responsible for their own invoicing. The current suggested fee is £25 per 30-minute lesson.
Car parking is available as well as use of the school canteen.
