This internship is designed for an aspiring educator who is passionate about language learning, intercultural understanding, and supporting multilingual students in developing confidence and fluency in English.
Working alongside experienced IB educators, you will gain practical classroom experience while contributing to a supportive, inquiry-driven, and student-centered learning environment.
What makes this role special?
You will support teaching and learning within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), with a focus on English language acquisition and communication skills development.
Working closely with mentor teachers, you will help create engaging learning experiences that encourage students to:
communicate confidently in English;
develop intercultural understanding;
think critically and creatively;
and grow as independent, reflective learners.
As an ISL intern, you will:
Gain hands-on experience in IB English Language B classrooms;
Develop practical language teaching and facilitation skills;
Learn from experienced international educators;
Build understanding of multilingual and culturally responsive teaching practices;
Strengthen your confidence as an emerging teacher.

Bachelor's degree in education, English, linguistics, applied languages, or a related field, completed within the last 12 months (between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026);
