ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tutor Assessor in Brickwork to support apprentices and work-based learners through high-quality assessment, coaching and learner support. You will work closely with employers and learners to ensure apprentices make excellent progress, achieve their qualifications and develop the skills required for a successful career within the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:
Deliver high-quality assessment, coaching and learner support in line with College and awarding body requirements.
Monitor learner progress and carry out regular reviews, setting clear targets and providing effective feedback.
Work collaboratively with employers and workplace mentors to support learner development and achievement.
Maintain accurate learner records, assessment evidence and compliance documentation.
Carry out workplace visits and contribute to quality assurance and standardisation activities.
Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Level 3 qualification in Brickwork or a related vocational area.
Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above and an assessor qualification.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience within Brickwork or Construction.
