We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated therapist to join our team of experienced and dynamic practitioners within the Inclusive Education Trust.
We are particularly interested in hearing from therapists with a recognised qualification, specialist training or a strong professional interest in creative play and/or arts therapies, who can provide high-quality individual and/or group therapeutic interventions to children and young people.
The successful candidate will have relevant training and experience in working with children and young people experiencing Social, Emotional, Behavioural and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside a strong understanding of the educational environment and the diverse needs of young people.
In addition to your specialist therapeutic expertise, you will demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with children, young people, education staff and other professionals.
Effective, accurate and accountable record management.
A professional, reliable and flexible approach to delivering therapeutic services.
This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified therapists to become part of a growing and supportive service. We offer competitive day rates and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the emotional wellbeing, development and educational experiences of children and young people.
The role will be offered on a contract-for-services basis, with therapists working on a self-employed basis.
If you are passionate about helping young people thrive and would like to be part of a growing, inclusive and creative therapeutic service, we would be delighted to hear from you.
