Teaching Assistants

Due to the expansion of our Personalisation provision, Fulham Cross Academy has vacancies for full-time, 1-year fixed term Teaching Assistants in the mainstream school as well as our new autism specialist Alternative Resourced Provision (ARP). You will be working as part of our established Personalisation team which would involve providing our students with individualised intervention in order to give them every opportunity of success. Fulfilling our students’ potential is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our students, challenging them to achieve beyond their expectations and supporting them to become lifelong learners. Not only is there a true sense of passion and determination, but there is a palpable sense of community in our school, something that makes Fulham Cross Academy a magnificent place to both learn and work. We are interested in hearing from both experienced TAs and graduates with the desire to progress into teaching eventually. Regardless of experience, we are looking for candidates who are positive, proactive, flexible and resilient. You must have the ability to quickly build strong professional working relationships with students. You must also have the ability to remove barriers to learning, have high expectations and provide rigorous academic support in and out of the classroom. Your support may include 1:1, small group work alongside in class work and the planning for this and collaboration with class teachers and key staff is an integral part of the role.
