TEACHING ASSISTANT x 2 32 hours per week, term time only (part time hours considered) Grade 14, £18,652 - £19,248 actual salary (pay award pending) Due to the expansion of our SEN provision, exciting opportunities have arisen at Westfield Academy for two Teaching Assistants. Experienced and enthusiastic individuals are required from September 2026 to join our dedicated team supporting students with special educational needs. You will be calm with the ability to be firm and patient and have excellent written, numeracy and oral communication skills. Supporting curriculum classes is a key element of the role, alongside delivery of 1-2-1 and small group interventions. Whilst previous experience in a similar teaching assistant role is preferred, applications from individuals with experience of working with children and the right personal qualities are welcomed, as full training and support will be provided Westfield Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
