Teaching Assistant (Predominantly Pre-Prep)

Teaching Assistant (Predominantly Pre-Prep)Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a proactive and dynamic permanent Pre-Prep Teaching Assistant who will be responsible for listening to readers, supporting and challenging pupils in Pre Prep and supervising playtimes with children at Sherborne Prep. While their primary place of work will be Sherborne Prep School, the postholder will also be expected to contribute to and support initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group. From time to time, they may be required to work at other schools or sites within the Group to meet the needs of the business. Hours of Work: Up to 30 hours per week during term time (33 working weeks to include INSET) Likely to be: Tuesdays, 8.00am to 4.00pm (less 30 minutes unpaid lunch break) Wednesdays, 8.00am to 5.00pm (less 30 minutes unpaid lunch break) Thursdays and Fridays, 8.00am – 3.30pm (less 30 minutes unpaid lunch break). Some flexibility will be required on occasion to meet the demands of the post.
