Teaching Assistant – Physical and Personal Care

Required from September 2026 Term Time only plus INSET Days / Twilight sessions 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.00pm Actual Salary from £23,608 (depending on experience) Fixed Term – supporting a Year 7 pupil until they leave Wellington School We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive team and provide dedicated 1:1 support for a female student with Cerebral Palsy and Cerebral Visual Impairment. You will work closely with the class teachers, SENCO and external professionals to support the student’s learning and development in line with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role involves providing physical and personal support throughout the school day, enabling the student to fully access the curriculum and participate in all aspects of school life. Training and ongoing support will be provided. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about helping young people.
