Whether it's helping a pupil engage in learning for the first time, supporting them to regulate their emotions, or celebrating a breakthrough moment, you'll be making a genuine difference every single day. What You'll Be Doing Support pupils in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to help them engage, achieve and grow. Work alongside teachers to deliver creative, personalised learning that meets individual needs. Build trusted relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and confident. Encourage independence, communication, emotional wellbeing and social development. Promote positive behaviour using nurturing and consistent approaches. Support educational visits, enrichment activities and wider school life. Record pupil progress and work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral colleagues to celebrate successes and overcome challenges.
