About this role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistant Level 3 SEN (Animal Care and Curriculum) to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School This is a Grade 5, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £24,998 and the full time equivalent is £29,064. We’re looking for: We are seeking experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEN) to specialise in Animal care and structured curriculum to support students in developing animal care skills. You will also need to be self-motivated individual with a great deal of empathy and tact to build excellent interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders and able to work collaboratively, driving continuous improvement to support student success. Main purpose of the job: Take a lead in the care of the animals in school; they will , promoting responsibility, wellbeing, and hands-on learning through the care of school animals. To support the structured curriculum, lead with the resourcing and organisation within the structured department. How to apply: To be considered please follow the online application process.
