We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Learning Support team and play a key role in helping students succeed both academically and personally. Working closely with teachers, SEND staff, pastoral leaders, students and families, you will provide tailored support that enables all learners to access the curriculum, overcome barriers to learning and thrive both in and beyond the classroom. The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will: Support students with a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, medical and physical needs, helping them to access learning and achieve success. Work collaboratively with teachers to provide high-quality classroom support and promote student independence. Deliver targeted small-group and one-to-one interventions focused on literacy, numeracy, study skills and personal development. Contribute to students’ academic progress, wellbeing and confidence through positive relationships and personalised support. Support behaviour, attendance and engagement through a relational and restorative approach. Assist with the implementation of exam access arrangements and SEND provision. Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, educational visits and pastoral support. The Successful Candidate Will HaveGCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent). Experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work or similar setting.
