About the Role
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this position.

30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Working hours: 8:45am to 3:15pm.

Temporary until 31/08/2027.

Ysgol Min y Ddôl is seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team and work in the Year 4 and Year 5 classroom. If you would like to work in a supportive, happy, and innovative environment, we would be delighted to welcome you to Ysgol Min y Ddôl.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, fun, supportive, a positive role model, and fluent in Welsh. You will work under the direct guidance of the class teacher and support pupils' access to education, including:

Providing 1:1 support for an individual pupil for part of each morning
Assisting with setting up the classroom environment
Supporting groups of pupils during group work
Supporting learners in the learning areas and while they complete challenges/tasks
Encouraging and challenging learners while they explore and learn independently
Sharing information about pupils' progress with the class teacher
Following the class teacher's instructions and adhering to school procedures, such as behaviour management policies
