Teaching Assistant (TA - LEVEL 2) Grade D SCP 7–10 SCP Temporary 12 month rolling contract linked to funding. Hours of Work: 32 hours per week, Term Time Only Working Hours 8:30am – 4.15pm Mon-Wed 8:30-2:15pm Thursday – Friday 8:30-2:00pm We are looking to appoint to the position of a teaching assistant. The successful candidate will support a student one-two-one in a classroom setting to assist in aspects around their barriers to learning. You will be working at times within in The Hive, delivering individual academic and pastoral programmes and providing support within the classroom environment. The ability to adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements. This position is to provide one to one academic support to a student within school and is supported by a rolling temporary contract dependant on funding. Demonstrating the ability to form and maintain strong positive relationships is essential to the role. Previous experience of working within a school environment and supporting students is important. A willingness to be flexible in your approach and the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations is essential. All staff are expected to act as effective role models and be prepared to demonstrate the school’s Core Values and be able to support students in an appropriate and professional manner.
