Teaching Assistant for EYFS

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young learners in their early development and contribute positively to their educational journey. Position: Teaching Assistant – EYFS Full time 37.5hrs per week Responsibilities: - Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning activities for EYFS pupils - Support individual children or small groups with their learning needs - Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment - Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff - Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among pupils Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum qualification: Certificate relevant to childcare or education - At least 1 year of experience working with young children, preferably within an educational setting - Good communication skills with both children and adults - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for supporting early childhood development Values and Attitudes: - A genuine passion for working with young children - Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion - Positive attitude towards continuous professional development - Reliability, responsibility, and professionalism in all aspects of work - Empathy and understanding towards the needs of each child We are an inclusive community which values diversity and equality, and we welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of background, in accordance with our Equal Opportunities policy.
