Teaching Assistant - EYFS Permanent Term Time Only 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm Grade 3 Scale Points 5 to 7 Salary will be pro-rated based on the number of hours and weeks worked per year e.g. £21,980 to £22,684 In January 2026, Farnsfield St Michael's C of E Primary School welcomed children to the school in the term after they turned 4. This has been so popular that we need a new member of staff to join our team in our Foundation Stage unit from September 2026. . What will your key responsibilities be? • Working closely with the class teacher to help our new children settle into the new routine. • Supporting the children in accessing the provision, playing and talking alongside as they develop their skills. • Taking a small group for a story or sounds and number activities. • Noting your observations of the children to assess their progress over time. • Supporting the teacher in keeping the space safe, tidy and inviting for their children, building on their interests.
