About the Role Mount House School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 pastoral and academic support for a Year 7 student with EHCP needs. This rewarding role focuses on helping a student access the curriculum, build confidence and develop independence within a nurturing school environment. You will support the student in lessons, reinforce learning, assist with homework and adapt strategies in line with EHCP guidance. Using the student’s interests, you will help foster engagement and motivation while promoting inclusion and social development. You will work closely with teachers and parents to monitor progress and ensure consistent support, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
