Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Bricklehurst Manor School, Stonegate, TN5 7EL
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | including 1 x 5pm finish
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: July 2026

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning tasks
Helping pupils regulate emotions through positive relationships and predictable routines
Working closely with teachers to adapt activities and resources
Encouraging independence, social interaction and emotional resilience
Supporting outdoor learning, sensory breaks and enrichment sessions
Providing personal care or physical support where required
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Contributing to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
What We’re Looking For
GCSE Grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEMH and/or SEN needs
A calm, caring and proactive approach
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A full driving licence
Experience working in an SEMH or specialist education setting with young chi
