The Role
Our Resource Base is at the heart of the values and ethos of Blaise High School. It provides a specialist and nurturing environment for some of our most vulnerable students, offering the high level of support they need to thrive, develop their independence and have equality of opportunity in life.
We are incredibly proud of our Resource Base students and the dedicated staff who support them. With small class sizes of no more than 10 students, we are able to provide a highly personalised approach, creating a happy, positive and nurturing environment where every young person is known, valued and encouraged to succeed.
Our ambition is for every student to achieve strong outcomes and, wherever possible, develop the skills, confidence and independence they need for life beyond school. We work with absolute integrity and strong moral purpose, always putting the individual needs, wellbeing and aspirations of our students at the centre of what we do.
Working in our Resource Base is both challenging and incredibly rewarding. No two days are the same, and there is a genuine sense of achievement in seeing students make progress, overcome barriers and celebrate successes that may once have seemed out of reach.
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring empathy, compassion and resilience, alongside an unwavering belief that every student is capable of achievement. You will share our commitment to ensuring that all young people have high aspirations and are supported to achieve them through a balance of personal, individual and academic development.
If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference to the lives of young people and would like to be part of a dedicated, caring and ambitious team, we would love to hear from you.
