The role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential. You'll work closely with the Class Teacher and wider team to create a caring, safe and stimulating environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with learning activities and reinforcing concepts taught by the teacher.
Promoting positive behaviour and adapting responses to meet individual needs.
Assisting with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and eating when required.
Encouraging independence and personal development.
Providing feedback on pupil progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
Helping prepare resources and contribute to lesson planning and evaluation.
About You:
We're looking for someone with:
Essential Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (minimum Functional Skills Level 2).
Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or willingness to work towards).
