+ SNA allowance (£813.00 per annum)
Contract: Full time (pro-rata TTO + 5 days), permanent

Arbour Academy is a specialist SEMH provision within the Kings Academy Trust, offering a small, nurturing environment for young people who are unable to access mainstream education. We are seeking a committed and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners, and who thrives in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities· Support learners with a range of additional needs, both individually and in groups.
· Work closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.
· Help implement support plans and monitor learner progress.
· Prepare and adapt learning resources, including the use of ICT where appropriate.
· Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
· Contribute to assessments, reports, and record keeping.
· Support learners during exams, trips, residentials, and off-site activities.
· Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and other professionals where required.
· Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
· Participate in training and wider school activities as required.
