As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be part of a warm, collaborative team dedicated to helping each learner feel safe, confident and ready to engage. What You’ll Do Supporting children and young people with SEND, including complex needs, to access learning and achieve personal goals Assisting with engaging classroom, outdoor and enrichment activities tailored to individual needs Providing emotional, behavioural and practical support to help pupils feel safe, valued and understood Encouraging independence, communication, positive relationships and social development Who We’re Looking For GCSE Maths and English or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above required A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn and develop professionally About Us Trimdon Hill School is a brand-new independent specialist school in Trimdon Grange, County Durham, supporting pupils aged 4–11 with autism and associated
